A Sign We as people are a people of tangible things and we encompass these things into our entire world, that world becomes your circle. That circle limits you because the signs you are looking for may be outside your circle. Step out of your comfort zone, you may need to just step out of your circle and analyze.
Luke 11:29- 32 29As the crowds increased, Jesus said, “This is a wicked generation. It asks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah. 30For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so also will the Son of Man be to this generation. 31The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with the people of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom; and now something greater than Solomon is here. 32The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and now something greater than Jonah is here.
The people you keep around you affect who you are, like fruits in a basket. When one fruit starts to rot, it contaminates the other fruits. What this really means is that the people around you will eventually affect your soul if they are toxic. On the contrary, surrounding yourself with like-minded, Christ-minded people will enrich your soul. You may be able to withstand the toxicity of toxic relationships.
Keeping it real! To be fair, a toxic relationship does affect you even though you are able to withstand it. The problem is you must deal with it by using your positive energy to combat the toxicity. That same energy could be used for so much more. In all fairness, we do this daily in our lives. To live in your safe space with toxicity is not fair to anyone. This relationship doesn't have to be an intimate relationship with a partner. This could be a friendship that just started or a lifelong friend, a coworker, your job environment, or your children. The relationship list can go on and on.
Here you are just expanding your circle by reading or listening to what I am sharing with you. I'm here to tell you God has His eyes on you and I am your sign that you have been looking for. So right now, today I declare in the name of Jesus, that the peace, understanding and constant love will be given to you in the name of Jesus, for you today and all your days to come. I tell you the truth that you can only attain such actions by walking with Jesus. Everybody has their walk, everybody has their journey, and everybody has their story. No one can take that from you.
You may be feeling like you are not good enough or have been told that your sins are not forgivable. You may have been told that you need to be a good person before you come to God. I'm here to tell you that is not as such. Jesus, God in the flesh, the one true living God, not an idol that others proclaim to be a God. God says come as you are; God is not looking to save people who think they are already righteous aka a good person.
God is waiting on you, God is calling you, He has a purpose for your life. Your past doesn’t determine who you are going to become, your past helps to determine who you are going to be. Let Jesus into your heart and see how God uses all the things you and the people of this world perceive as ungodly things for His good.
Though it is true that sinning is ungodly. God knew these things transpired and knows the sins that will manifest itself after you accept Jesus. The good thing is that God still wants a relationship with you. There is nothing you have done or anything you can do to make God not want you, you are God's creation made in His image.
The evilness and wickedness that crept up into your life are forgiven because Jesus died for you, died for me, and died for all of God's people. God will take all that evil and use it for His Glory, you are God's prized possession. Let’s be real, you yourself don't want anyone to mess with your prized possessions that you value or worked so hard for.
If those prized possessions are messed with and you can get reconciliation and have it dealt with, it would be just with you. Reconciliation or dealing with it would bridge or solidify the circumstances. Well, with God it's sort of like that because the God I follow is bigger than anything our simple minds could come up with. This is not an insult to your intelligence! A computer has nothing on the one who build it, nor does a car have anything on the one whom created it.
So, think about the creator that breathed life into your lungs. If you think you or any being on this earth is capable of comprehending what God's doing, or if it's even feasible for one to comprehend on God intellectually speaking, I have been sent as a sign to let you know there is nothing in this world that so far from the truth!
Jesus is Lord, Lord is God and is the spirit of the true living God (Holy Trinity). The creator of the universe, the spirit that rose Jesus from the dead is alive and is waiting for you to invite them into your heart. God is not condemning you if you are experiencing condemnation or any adverse reactions. These types of feelings are quite alright and as expected. It proves as a sign that you care and have a heart for Jesus. The uneasiness or condemnation that you may be experiencing is your flesh wrestling with the spirit.
The flesh has the upper hand at this moment, but it is well because good will conquer evil and you are good. God loves you so much that Jesus was sent to earth, God himself came to earth as Jesus. Now remember, I told you our intelligence is not on God’s level and if you can comprehend fully what you think God is doing, it's probably not God at all.
Jesus came to earth for a specific reason! Jesus dying on the cross was not because Jesus did something wrong and ended up on the cross crucified with other criminals. No, my friends, this was God’s plan all along. How about that computer or car? Remember that was discussed earlier. Well, a computer gets a virus, and the creator of that computer creates something to go into the computer and fix it.
In a sense, the creator of that computer puts himself in that computer, he takes the knowledge, hear me now. The knowledge that God, your God, my God instilled in the creator of the computer and found a way to make it right again. The creator is outside of what he created, he cannot physically go in the computer for he is outside of it and not of it.
God is bigger than us, bigger than the earth, bigger than the universe and all we can see is what he allows us to see. So, God himself, Jesus came to earth to be a tangible SIGN. God knows the people He created in His image needed a miracle. Jesus’ miracles were not to brag, it was a SIGN of God. God knew that the miracles weren’t enough for His needy creation. Jesus died, another SIGN, not only did He die but he rose in 3 days.
Not only did He rise but he also revealed himself through the Holy Spirit and spoke to people, another SIGN. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I like to say, you only know what you know until you know (YOKWUKUYK). So now you know!
If you believe with all your heart that Jesus is Lord, and he came to earth and died for your sins, for my sins, and the sins of all people, repent and ask for forgiveness of your sins and invite Jesus into your life. Do your best to follow Jesus; you are now saved; you have the same spirit that rose Jesus from the dead inside you. You are a new creation the old you has passed and the new has come and the angels are now rejoicing.
For those of you who have been following Jesus, God is pleased with you and if you have strayed God still loves you. If you are still on the fence about Jesus, God's arms are still wide open. It is the same for you, all you must do is repent because the spirit still resides in you. We need to be like God and be constant in our walk. God knows all your short comings so don't let them separate you from our merciful father because that's what the enemy wants.
The evil one wants you to feel like you are not good enough and you are on your own, but you are not on your own. The spirit of the true living God is in you and is with you all the days of your life. Be constant and build your relationship with God through Jesus and let your spirituality evolve.
